Coffee is bad for you?

Think again!

CLICK here to read more about our 'liquid gold!'

Or...to quote the yahoo health article...
" Coffee, which some people accuse me of being addicted to, is basically liquid gold. It may lower your risk for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, breast cancer, skin cancer, diabetes, gallstones, even oral cancer. P.S., java drinkers make half as many errors in daily life compared with decaf fans, according to a study from Cardiff University in Wales, because caffeine helps you process information quickly. It's also linked to a reduced risk for depression. Those pit stops at Starbucks aren't just perking me up—they're protecting every part of me!"

Of course... if you want the BEST Coffee Bang for your buck... health & costwise... I drink Gano Excel's Gano Cafe... Gano stands for ganoderma, or commonly known as 'reishi mushroom' which Andrew Weil, MD & authorities in Asia consider the "King of Herbs," "the Mushroom of Immortality" & the "Herb of Spiritual Potency," and many more... You do want & need reishi in your body!

THERE IS NO ACHIEVEMENT WITHOUT GOALS.

THERE IS NO ACHIEVEMENT WITHOUT GOALS.

The indispensable first step to getting the things you want out of life is this:

Decide what you want.

You must establish your objectives if you are to accomplish anything in a big way.

Goals give you a starting place and a destination.

People with goals succeed because they know where they are going.

Determine what you want.

Decide on your major objectives, targets, aims, and destination.

If you don’t know where you are going, how can you expect to get there ?

Plant your dreams, nourish and live them.

The most important thing about goals is having one.

Funny...common theme for July 5th, 2006! So true!

Fortunately, Carrie, disappointments have little to do with circumstance and everything to do with perspective.
Everything.

The Universe

Happy Independence Day!

Ahhhhhhhhhhh..... Independence... what an appropriate time to share and wish blessings of Independence to all of my Gano Family!

As some of you know... My mother passed away on June 24th... I am so grateful for her teachings of self-sufficiency and independence... She truly taught me how to fly!!! Thank God for her, I wanted to give her a grand child before she left earth. She was a type one diabetic since she was 3 years old, had several miscarriages before adopting my brother and I...In the end, after probably 5 close calls that she FOUGHT back from...and kidney dialysis, congestive heart failure, CAD with triple bypass, and several heart attacks...Finally, a broken hip took her to heaven... She was on her way to recovery..but, finally her body/spirit allowed to join her parents in the spiritual world.

Now I'm grateful she's able to visit anytime she'd like in our beachfront home. She got to enjoy her grandson as often as possible, and now I am blessed to have him thanks to her... And, the true independence she's taught us to have...

Thanks also to Gano Excel, the healthy coffee company to allow us to really see the VISION, and dream of TRUE independence, by helping as many people as possible achieve their own goals and dreams and health. This has been a passion of mine since childhood, being raised with my Mother's illness. What is your Dream? What is your Passion? What is your why? Feel free to comment/post them here. And, keep on keeping on... I truly believe that if it's possible with any company, Gano Excel can truly be your vehicle to reach those dreams!

God Bless you all, Happy Independence Day!

Carrie and CJ, and Grammy!

Thank YOU my Gano Family. The Wind Beneath our Wings!

THE SEED TO SUCCESS IS IN YOUR IMAGINATION

Your imagination can show you how to turn your possibilities into reality.

Visualize all the things that you want in life.

Then make your mental blue print, and begin to build.

You must make every thought, every fact,
that comes into your mind pay you a profit.

Make those mental images work and produce for you.

Think of things not as they are but as they might be.
Don't just dream, be creative.

The will to succeed springs from the knowledge that you can succeed.

From a Silent Mentor!

Happy Father's Day!

To all of our Gano Family Fathers and your Fathers! Much Love & Blessings to you and yours!

We are grateful for all that you do!

Found this wonder poem by Helen Steiner Rice.
Fathers are wonderful people
Too little understood,
And we do not sing their praises
As often as we should...
For, somehow,
Father seems to be
The man who pays the bills,
While Mother binds up little hurts
And nurses all our ills...
And Father struggles daily
To live up to "HIS IMAGE"
As protector and provider
And "hero or the scrimmage"...
And perhaps that is the reason
We sometimes get the notion,
That Fathers are not subject
To the thing we call emotion,
But if you look inside Dad's heart,
Where no one else can see
You'll find he's sentimental
And as "soft" as he can be...
But he's so busy every dayIn the grueling race of life,
He leaves the sentimental stuff
To his partner and his wife...
But Fathers are just WONDERFUL
In a million different ways,
And they merit loving compliments
And accolade of praise,
For the only reason Dad aspires
To fortune and successIs to make the family proud of him
And to bring them happiness...
And like OUR HEAVENLY FATHER,
He's a guardian and a guide,
Someone that we can count on
To be ALWAYS ON OUR SIDE.
~Helen Steiner Rice~

Love,
Your Gano Sister,
Carrie

SUCCESS IS THE SUM OF SMALL EFFORTS.

Your success will come as the result of little efforts,
repeated day in and day out over a period of time.

Successful action is cumulative in its results.

All masters of success are chiefly distinguished by their
ability to add a second, a third, and even a forth step
in continuous succession to reach their goal.

With every additional step you take,
you enhance immensely the value of your first step.

There is no easy road to anything.
One thing at a time.
All things in succession.

That which grows fast, withers as rapidly.
That which grows slowly, endures.

Do not despise the bottom rungs in your ascent to greatness.

" If you think you've been short-changed, re-count your blessings!"

Thoughts for the day...

"The greatest discovery of my generation is that man can alter his life simply by altering his attitude of mind."
-- William James

Here is one perspective on levels of consciousness and some descriptive words to help us identify the differences:
Not conscious - instinctual, followerSubconscious - habitual, robotic, reactiveConscious - aware, intelligent, conceptual, reflectiveSuperconscious - intuitive, guiding, truthful, loving, universal
Reflect on how you typically move through your day. As we use our minds more consciously, we open up to the superconsciousness.

"Utilizing your conscious mind to direct the subconscious mind to enter into communication and harmony with the universal mind is the secret of personal power."

Tips For Success....Pitfalls to Avoid.....Five Points To Not Do!

This was sent to my inbox from one of our Gano Sisters, Pamela Baden. Thank you Pamela!

1. Do not Procrastinate!

Avoid getting ready to get ready. Don't try to analyze every point. Example: Do you know how every single part in your car works? Unless you are a mechanic, you don't. You just get in, turn the key and start driving to your destination!

2. Don't Reinvent the Wheel!

Follow other successful people and do what they are doing. Use your training tools. Shorten your learning curve by learning from other people's mistakes. Test new ways after you have had some success.

3. Don't Have A Small Time Attitude!

A person with the right attitude can move mountains and a person with a bad attitude can be crushed by the smallest grain of sand. Have a vision, a goal and stick to it. Failure is not an option so burn the boat. Don't have a back-up or exit strategy. Think only success and move in that direction. Have a Can-Do attitude.

4. Don't Listen To Dream Stealers!

Don't listen to negative, spiritual vampires that will suck everything out of you. Develope an unshakable, unstoppable confidence in yourself. Have a plan and a goal and take daily steps to reach it.

5. Your Success Is Your Responsibility!

Your success is up to you not your company, your upline or your downline. Of course, ask for help when you need it but use all the training tools and personal development trainings that are available to you. You are not responsible for someone elses success either. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. When a person gets thirsty enough they will drink! You can't have desire for someone else. They have to bring it to the table. Some people won't get out of their own way. It is not your fault when you try to help someone and they do nothing. Each person has to take their own action. People moving in the same direction end up at the same distination......Success. Strive to create a better outcome for your life by always learning. Be pro-active and make things happen, don't let things happen to you.

WORK FOR A LOVING, NOT A LIVING!

Birgit & Horst Jurock, BC, Canada!

We are Birgit and Horst Jurock, 52 / 50 years young. We live in Roberts Creek, a small, sleepy coastal town in British Columbia, Canada. http://www.bigpacific.com/robertscreek/index.html

We have been married for 25 years and our four kids, one son in law and two dogs are part of our household.

We joined Gano a few weeks ago and it has been a blast and gets better every day.

Residual Income has always been our dream. Being independent and free, learning and earning money in the process.

Internet marketing is what we do and after being in Internet marketing for the better part of five years and having tried MANY different “business opportunities” with GanoExcel we found a business and products we can stand behind.

We love the products, the Ganocafe classic and Ganocafe Mocha being our favorites.

A bit about us:

Biggi:
I once was asked the question; “Are you extrovert or introvert?”
My automatic response was: “I am introvert. Am I not shy? Afraid to talk to “strangers”? But then, I love networking. I enjoy being out among people. So what am I?”
I am on this earth now for so many years and I still don’t know? Where do I go? What do I become?
We learn everyday!
I was born in and grew up Germany, in a town called Hoesel. My parents wanted me to become an engineer. That’s what my Dad was, an engineer. But I had different dreams. Totally different. I wanted to become a nurse. One day my parents brought an uniform/costume from England. A cape, a hat, the watch. I liked that.
But that’s too easy. You have a dream – you follow it – you become. No, there had to be a detour.
I was very rebellious in my teens, and I dreamed of being an artist, living in a hippie community. It would be cool to make everything yourself.

Now was the time for the next step.

Dropping out of school. What do I need a high school degree for?
I moved into a different city called Duesseldorf and I did an apprenticeship in a fashion company. Knowing how to sew is definitely helpful when living in a community. So I worked in the fashion industry for 3 years and helped in fashion shows, worked in administration, the works. My goal was to visit the college of Fashion Design afterwards. But, these were not the kind of people I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

Dream No. 1 awakened again. And…

Now was the time for the next step.

I moved into a different city called Cologne and started with nursing school. There was my uniform. And – guess what - I didn’t like it. Skirt hanging wide over the knees, collar buttoned up, having to wear white aprons and then the hat.
But these were only minor details. I loved nursing. Helping people. The medical education.
So, I did this for several years and then…

It was time for the next step.
I moved into a different city called Frankfurt and got married. Now I became a housewife. Mom with first one, then two, then three and then…..
We moved into a different city called Stuttgart and then we had No.4.
In 92 we came to Canada to visit my brother in law and his family. And we loved it here in BC. “Let’s try to immigrate again!” Again? Yes, we had tried it before in the beginning of our marriage. But despite sponsorship and knowing influential people in the government, we tried for 3 years without any results. Now, 10 years later – let’s try one more time!
Now was the time for the next step.
We applied and then we had 6 months to sell everything and pack our suitcases and some boxes and then we moved to into a different city called…..Vancouver. The first years were very tough but we never looked back.

No nursing here though. Different system, different education, different exams. I did the paper routes and I worked with Canada Post for 2 years as an Admail worker. Volunteer work and Office work…

... And then it was time for the next step.
2 1/2 years ago I started my own business – Internet marketing consulting. Me – the shy one. But I knew I had to do the next step.
And by the way, did I mention that since we live here in Canada we have already moved three times?

P.S. This was in 2003, since then we moved to the Sunshine Coast to Sechelt, one year later to Roberts Creek, and now I’m pooped and stay put until……..
The next step.

Horst:

I am a journeyman cabinet maker/ painter/chef by trade and worked in Germany in those professions before we immigrated to Canada. One of the best decisions we ever made. Here I worked as sign maker, welder, salesman and in the last few years as vice president of operations for a publishing company. The last job finished me.I stopped working in this job (Just Over Broke) two years ago for health reasons. I am recovering nicely and encouraged by my wonderful wife decided to go into network marketing with her. She is already an accomplished Internet marketer and it is fun learning from her and working with her.I love working from home for several reasons.

1. I get to work with the love of my life. If I had known how much fun that would be I would have quit before the job took my health.

2. I can work as much as I want but also can stop working anytime and enjoy the sunshine. We are the boss.

3. I get to see the kids a lot more (I like it; it took them a while to get used to Dad being at home ALL THE TIME :))

4. I get to meet so many people all over the world and talk (write) to them and not only for business reasons.

5. By meeting so many people from so many cultures and walks of life, I learn and that in itself is great.

Well that is it in a nutshell. I am looking forward to connecting to lots of people here and learn from them and maybe even share some of my experiences.

Join us on our voyage to financial independence.

Our Best to you,
Birgit & Horst Jurock

Live Now...

"How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives."
-- Annie Dillard

We lose the power of the moment because we're so rarely in it. We're reliving the past or speculating about the future. We continue to believe that tomorrow's the day when I'll be more capable, more wealthy, more fit and more loving. Meanwhile, I'm just putting in time, dreaming of better things but not making any concrete move to realize them.
When you find yourself thinking of the future or the past, bring your awareness into the present moment. Really experience how you feel and what’s happening around you, without judgment. If we can treasure each moment, our lives will be rich, no matter what we have accomplished.

"Lost, yesterday, somewhere between sunrise and sunset, two golden hours, each set with sixty diamond minutes. No reward is offered for they are gone forever."
-- Horace Mann

"If, before going to bed every night, you will tear a page from the calendar, and remark, 'there goes another day of my life, never to return,' you will become time conscious."
-- A. B. Zu Tavern

Another Great one! Winners VS. Losers! We have the WINNING TEAM!

Winners vs Losers

A winner is always part of the answer. A loser is always part of the problem.
A winner always has a plan. A loser always has an excuse.
A winner says: "Let me do it for you."A loser says: "That is not my job."
A winner sees an answer for any problem. A loser sees a problem for any answer.
A winner sees a green near every sandtrap.A loser sees two sandtraps near every green.
A winner says: "It may be difficult but it's possible."A loser says: "It may be possible but it's too difficult."

My Friday Story by "As a Man Thinketh"

INSTRUCTIONS FOR A WONDERFUL, FULFILLING LIFE

1. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

2. Memorize your favorite poem.

3. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have, or sleep all you want.

4. When you say, "I love you", mean it.

5. When you say, "I'm sorry", look the person in the eye.

6. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

7. Believe in love at first sight.

8. Never laugh at anyone's dreams.

9. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.

10. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name-calling.

11. Don't judge people by their relatives.

12. Talk slowly but think quickly.

13. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?"

14. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.

15. Call your mom.

16. Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.

17. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

18. Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; Responsibility for all your actions.

19. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

20. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

21. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.

22. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, conversational skills will be as important as any other.

23. Spend some time alone.

24. Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.

25. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.

26. Read more books and watch less TV.

27. Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you'll get to enjoy it a second time.

28. Trust in God but lock your car.

29. A loving atmosphere in your home is so important. Do all you can to create a tranquil harmonious home.

30. In disagreements with loved ones, deal with the current situation. Don't bring up the past.
31. Read between the lines.

32. Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality.

33. Be gentle with the earth.

34. Pray. There's immeasurable power in it.

35. Never interrupt when you are being flattered.

36. Mind your own business.

37. Don't trust a man/woman who doesn't close his/her eyes when you kiss.

38. Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.

Doesn't this quote go right along with our Million Dollar Action plan, and Zeke!

Age wrinkles the body. Quitting wrinkles the soul.

by Douglas McArthur

(Zeke, this one is for you, as our 29 year old Gem!)

Meg Friedrich

Meg Friedrich earned her MusB with Distinction in Music Education from The University of Michigan and has had a long, country-wide career in flute teaching and performing. She is currently in her 26th year of playing flute and piccolo in the Pioneer Valley Symphony, rated #1 in Western Massachusetts, and does other free-lance performing throughout New England, as well as teaching flute at various secondary schools in her area.

Over the years, she has done considerable secretarial work and also owned and operated a Bed & Breakfast for ten years.

Because she is an entrepreneur at heart, when she was first introduced to network marketing 10 years ago, she was very attracted to the concept and all it includes: the freedom of working from home, getting paid according to what you do (rather than what your boss thinks you’re worth), self-development, and people helping people.

After a varied networking career, she is thrilled to have found her home with Gano Excel and the CoffeeTeamOnline gang ~ a system that truly has its entire act together! She is honored to be a part of the company ~ and the team within the company ~ that is destined to make history!

Meg and her husband, Eddie, live out in the boonies with the deer and wild turkeys (but in a five-college area), overlooking the Deerfield Valley and the Shelburne Hills.

Quote of the Day...

There is a little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. That little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.

Zeke & Jean Hanzl... part of our Healthy Coffee RV gang!

Zeke went to Gettysburgh College, Pa. after his grammar school years and Jean went to Mrs. Skinner's Secretarial School but left after a few dull months and went to work in the mailroom of Doubleday Publishing Co., Garden City. More dullness, so ended up commuting from home in L.I. to N.Y.C. working in advertising.

Later, living and working in the City was even better because that is why Z & J met one evening in the N.Y.C. Port Authority building while waiting on line to take the bus out to N.J. By that time Zeke was working in his father's commercial art studio in the City and living in Cranford, N.J. (That's where Jean's family had moved to live) so the twain did meet. Zeke worked as VP of Marketing for Staff Builders, Inc., a national temporary staffing service before we dropped everything to do what we knew was right for us and our family at that time...Vermont!

We lived in Upper Montclair, N.J. for the first seven years of marriage and created two children. We acquired four dogs and decided we needed to live a different life-style. Vermont was the answer. So in 1971, we took the plunge. At first we were considered "odd" in our little country farm village (being city people) but eventually we were fully accepted and it truly became our village, as well. Zeke eventually became Deputy Commissioner of Economic Development for the state of Vermont under our first woman Governor, Madeline Kunin, while Jean ran a business called "THE OLD FIREHOUSE ANTIQUES, YARN & CRAFTS CENTER,which we owned.

Eventually, we moved from Craftsbury and came to the Burlington area where Zeke has just retired from his work as Canon For Ministry Development for the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont. We will now devote our time to our wonderful new enterprise, Gano Excel, USA ... HEALTHY COFFEE.

Always Onward, or as zeke might say in his former life, "ad astra per aspera".

Postscript: Perhaps sometime we'll share some of the unusual happenings our lives have encountered during our never dull country life (if you dare to listen) ... goats, ghosts, 4-H, headaches and always new challenges.

Great fun at 2nd Gano Family Re-union!

My team and My CJ are MY WHY! Love you All!
Just wanted to thank everyone who was able to make it to the Healthy Coffee Party on Saturday, and we missed those of you who couldn't! It was great fun hearing and sharing everyone's dreams and funny stories, and incredible health changes--- all due to coffee (of course, reishi coffee, type in a google search on "ganoderma" or "reishi" to find all the amazing health benefits!)!!! Especially great seeing our friend and gano sister's husband actually starting to "wake up and smell the coffee!" and share with his own circle of friends! That will be especially fun to follow- he's even offered his home for upcoming Healthy Coffee/Football Parties, keep you posted on those!! I want you all to know how ever grateful I am to have you as part of our Gano Family! I can't wait to see where we are 6 months and one year from now! Feel free to post goals, and progress! (Of course, plan of action as well)... and remember the properties of a good Goal... They're S.M.A.R.T. (specific, attainable, (ANYTHING is attainable with our team!) measureable, realistic, and time sensitive!).

Blessings, and Love, To All of OUR Success!

Carrie & CJ, and all of your Gano Family!
